SAGES cordially invite you: everyone, especially students (any student), to design for SAGES new logo and T shirts. Everyone who provides his/her input will get a free T shirt as a thank-you once we have the T shirts ordered. The winner designer(s) whose work we adopt will win some extra gift.
There are a few requirement for the design:
1. The logo and T shirt design should include both or either “SAGES” acronym or “Student Association of Geneva Experiment Station”.
2. The most desired logo and T shirt design should integrate as many elements listed as possible: the four Geneva departments (Ento, PP, FS, Hort), Geneva and/or Cornell University.
3. The color and graphic must be suitable for regular 2D press printing (no 3Ds please).
4. Please take a look at the old SAGES logo for some reference or inspiration, if any:

5. One can either design a logo or a T shirt, or both. Although T shirt with a logo is preferred.
6. Upon participating in this competition, authors automatically agree to grant the copyright of their designs to SAGES once accepted, while SAGES rewards the author(s) with credit when publicizing.
Other than those, the idea of designing is quite free and open. Welcome to forward this information to your summer/visiting students in your lab if they are not on this list serve; or simply anyone you know who may have this kind of talent and be interested for helping SAGES.
